Oh, that's a shame. No worries though, thank you for the info RHStation. Scintillation is a new subject for me and I'm still learning about it. I guess I'll need to look at either making my own probe in the future of trying to get a purpose built one. Gamma spectroscopy is something I want to pursue but I guess back to the drawing board for now. I had mistakenly assumed that scintillation probes were sort of equal, but obviously not.

The subject is complicated. Problems are usually starting with noisy or non-linear electronics and may end up with wrongly applied optical grease.
