Chernobyl power plant captured by Russian forces - Ukrainian official

KYIV, Feb 24 (Reuters) - The Chernobyl nuclear power plant has been captured by Russian forces, an adviser to the Ukrainian presidential office, Mykhailo Podolyak, said on Thursday.
...
Russian troops took over the power plant while Ukrainian forces battled them on three sides on Thursday after Moscow mounted an assault by land, sea and air in the biggest attack on a European state since World War Two.

I have been looking into the rise in radiation at Chernobyl, and whilst nearly all news outlets state it has risen, none state by how much. Reading comments on some of the stories they state that this is just because the Russian troops are 'kicking up the dust' so I wanted to see the actual readings.
After much searching I have found a website with readings from all around Ukraine: https://www.saveecobot.com/en/radiation-maps#10/51.3010/29.9995/gamma/comp+cams+fire The readings are half/a day behind but certainly show a spike of about 27x around the reactors.

The graph shows the readings in nSv/h. Divide by 1000 to get the uSv/h

Pretty sure there was some talk about a nuclear storage facility being hit, I read it yesterday. Not got a link though.

My grandfather was Ukrainian, so this pointless war hurts.

I have found some news reports of the nuclear storage facility being hit, but no confirmation yet.

Looks like "destroyed" was a mistranslation and what may have really been said was that radioactive debris or fallout could be "disturbed" by heavy equipment, troops, explosions, etc..
